Holiday time

Holiday time is here and the team is taking a break. Watch out for the occasional piece, though, and we shall be back regularly in late July.

But if the cruise ship goes down, we could end up like the poor chap in striped shorts, who swam ashore too late to stake his claim to the land. The “poor chap” is Vic Blundell who ran the old United Committee for the Taxation of Land Values, predecessor of the Henry George Foundation in London from 1959 to about 1982. The illustration was done by Reg Smith, a member of the United Committee. Some of the material on our website was written by Vic long ago but remains relevant. The design was put on a T-shirt. Should we get some more made?
